Well, it has been a while.

Maybe that is because I haven’t blogged in forever. Maybe that is due to the fact that 2 weeks until winter break = an insaneeeeeeeeely large amount of work. And maybe that is stressing me out just a little bit.

Anyway, we turned in our soccer gear today which was very bittersweet.

The “sweet” is that we had a great run and made it to the sweet 16 for the first time, and the “bitter” is that 9 phenomenal seniors are departing.

It is always a weird feeling to have all of this free time around the hours of 4-6 when practice used to be…but I suppose academics will somehow fill that void.

Thanksgiving break was great: time with the family, time with friends, and time to myself.  Oh yes not to mention, Thanksgiving dinner.  

On another note, it is extremely crazy to think that in just 2 weeks I will be turning 21.

I feel old and I don’t want to talk about it.

So it never fails…

As any type of break approaches, the workload increases drastically: papers, projects, tests…tests, projects papers. To most students’ dismay, I am sure that next week (the week before Thanksgiving break) will not show any signs of improvement.

Despite all of this, I am ecstatic to report that not only has the soccer team won the NCAC championship for the 2nd year in the row, but last night we defeated Penn St.-Behrend 4-0 in the first round of nationals. 

Thanks to all who came out to show support! It was an amazing team win. And also, congrats to the volleyball team who defeated Heidleberg last night!

Hopefully both of our winning streaks will continue tonight against Calvin College and the volleyball team against Ohio Northern.
