The Egyptian Delta Monastic Archaeology Project (EDMAP) is directed by Stephen Davis from Yale University. Darlene Brooks Hedstrom is the Chief Archaeologist for the project. EDMAP is supported by grants from National Geographic, Dumbarton Oaks Project Grants in Byzantine Studies, Yale Egyptology Fund Committee and Wittenberg University.
